Lincoln Ave is completely closed for neighborhood events at least 3x a year. People sit on their front patios and talk to the neighbors who are walking downtown. Great place to live!! There are also lovely decorations during Christmas. Fun all the way! Tree lined and close to a little downtown area with good food and friendly vibe. Good access to freeways provides a jump to work. Willow Glen is a really nice neighborhood. And also bus stops. I often use public transportation. An urban oasis yet convenient to downtown, airport, anywhere in So Valley. Real sense of a neighborhood. People respect others yards, people are friendly and typically enjoy pets. A lot of dog owners meet at the local schools and parks to play. It is quite a sight to behold and makes the holiday season especially magical. Neighbors know each other. We feel good walking any time of day nearby.
