After extensive thought, research, and discussion it was determined that we will be unable to properly plan, organize and carry out a tournament of such magnitude with the expected COVID restrictions in place. The health and safety of our players and families is of utmost importance to us and the pandemic creates barriers we are unable to overcome.

Please know that we did not make this decision lightly and are extremely disappointed that the event cannot proceed. With participants and officials from all over the United States, Canada and Ireland, the CYC faces unique challenges related to funding, safety, accommodations, and transportation.

While we are deeply saddened to see another year without Gaelic sports being played on such a large scale, we are hopeful that any local tournaments and leagues will be well attended by the clubs within each Division.

We are also hopeful that will see the tournament return in full capacity. We appreciate the interest expressed by families for a tournament and are heartened by the continued commitment to Gaelic sports.
