Morrell new york wine

First time here for dinner. My wife and I were very pleased. Just off Rock Center and the tree, but inside was comfortable and quiet.

Food and service was excellent. We will go back. Food was nice well presented and the staff were also very good, some items not available but other than that a pleasant experience. Beautiful location and you can see the Christmas tree from inside the establishment. Service was excellent. We ordered a chopped salad which was fresh, but the champagne vinaigrette was a little too sharp. The fusilli with lobster was quite good, but the tortellini with crispy serrano ham was completely overcooked; unfortunately it was a plate of mush.

Horrible experience. We were at the bar the day before and had a great salad and wine so we decided to return the next day for dinner.

Big mistake! The food was not good and the service was horrible. Very disappointing. So accommodating and had a great dinner upstairs. We had the most wonderful lunch. Everyone was so relaxed and friendly.

It was a perfect Christmas Eve meal. Great Atmosphere! This is something that needs to be addressed by the restaurant bc we ended up having to go elsewhere unfortunately. We go to Morrell's every Christmas season when in town to see the tree.

This year the food was outstanding! The service was competent - the waitress seemed distracted or possibly new. The wine we ordered was not available, and it was ultimately handled well but only after what seemed like confusion by the staff. The alternated choice was exceptional. The only problem we had was their handling of our Open Table reservation. While they acknowledged the reservation and call us by name, they called my cell phone while we were there, asking why we hadn't appeared.

Then they reported us to Open Table as no-shows, requiring extra work emailing to take care of it. This is the 2nd year in a row this has happened - clearly someone is not checking in the resv.

Not a big issue but an annoying end to an otherwise very good dinner. Small nice place inside very high-priced small glasses of wine for a high price but it is right across from Rockefeller Plaza. Good service. Terrible service waitress just left and was reassigned halfway thru dinner. New waiter showed up and was totally out of sync. Not a good night. Lovely moderately priced lunch special. Gorgeous service. Perfect food. Good value in that area. This place is right in Rockefeller Plaza and a welcome respite from all the commotion of the holiday crowd They do have an outdoor patio where you can have drinks even in the winter.

The food is excellent. While the food was generally great, there were a couple of issues with our meal. First and foremost, when I received a call to confirm the reservation I informed the host that my girlfriend has a severe apple allergy. However, when we received our appetizer there were apples present.

Luckily she did not have a reaction, but I found this to be highly inconsiderate. Second, at one point in our meal our waiter left and no one came over to our table to take our meal order for over 15 minutes. Beautiful view of the tree and great location but stick to a drink at the bar Wonderful server and service!

Brought some rose as a birthday celebration starter on the house and enjoyed every drop of wine and every bite of my many plates! Yum yummy! Birthday and Christmas.

My favorite Rockefeller Center restaurant! Never disappoints!!! Bit noisy but the Tree is up next door and the place was packed Food great perfect for a light dinner before a Broadway show. Enjoyed a delicious meal before a show. Great food and service. Large variety of wine but no Mascato.

Waitstaff was great at finding me a good alternative though. Would definitely go back. Get reservations though. It was packed around 8 pm. It was just ok. Nothing special. A rich showy style with a very creamy texture to its mix of warmed vanilla plum and boysenberry puree and melted black licorice flavors. A mocha notes swirls around the fruit on the finish. Drink now through Cayuse - Syrah En Cerise ml. The Syrah en Cerise begins a little more broad-shouldered than the rest of the range offering up aromas of black cherries crushed rock cured meats smoked peppercorn and dusty lavender in the glass.

Full-bodied the wine is Cayuse - Tempranillo Impulsivo ml. The Impulsivo begins with an expressive and aromatic nose with roasted blackberries oak spice tones and charred cherry skin with elements of dusty purple flowers and baked earth.

Full-bodied the wine is expressive and deliciously Chacra - Chardonnay ml. JS The tension and density are so in balance showing flint and matchstick notes. Full-bodied creamy and very salty with a long focused finish.

Love the tight subdued character here. A thoughtful serious wine that needs contemplation Lightly mouthwatering and satin-like on the palate a harmonious version that layers ripe notes of white cherry blood orange sorbet Champagne Tarlant - Bam!
