Excellent workplace, excellent staff to work with, management was wonderful, parents and kids were awesome Low pay rate , no benefits, you have to use your own money for supplies. They do not follow a curriculum despite what they tell the parents.
The building is old and it floods when it rains. A lot of repairs are needed. Management was horrible. Staff was drama and useless. I took my problems home with me and it affected my physical and mental health. My boss took full advantage of me with overloading me with work and kids because of my great work ethic.

There are amazing teachers and families enrolled at Cornerstone Academy. As it is a smaller private non profit school, the pay and benefits are lacking. But what it lacks in pay and benefits it makes up for with charm and wonderful culture. I love the staff, children, and families there.
We had so many field trips in the area which helped keep the kids engaged and not bored. I would have stayed if I was not injured at the time.
This job helps with child-care and helps me learn more about taking care of children. I get to feel accomplished whenever I help a child learn in a classroom full of other children.
